Open deck. Exclusively.

We don’t run vans, reefers, or dry freight. We specialize in flatbed, step deck, and Conestoga transportation, with the experience and equipment to handle permitted oversize loads that demand more than ordinary freight service. This is specialized transportation — built around complex loads, higher standards, and the expertise to move freight others aren’t equipped to handle. Open deck is not one part of our business. It is our business.

Flatbed

53 foot aluminium, combo decks. Steel, pipe, lumber and building products, secured and tarped by drivers who are paid for the time it takes.

What you need to run with us

You bring

    Valid CDL-ACurrent, unrestricted, and issued in your state of residence.

04 — About us

Built by driver, run for drivers

Freight Portal started with two trucks and one rule that has not changed: the driver who moves the load is the person the company is built around. Everything else — the lanes we take, the trailers we buy, the way dispatch is staffed — follows from that.

We run open deck only — flatbed, step deck, Conestoga and permitted oversize — because that is the work our drivers know and the freight that pays. We stay out of cheap spot-market van lanes, we do not force dispatch.

If you want to be a number in a fleet of three thousand, we are the wrong company. If you want a dispatcher who knows your name and your needs, you are in the right place.
